I am a First-Class BSc Economics graduate from the University of Bath, having previously achieved four A* grades in my A-Levels. Alongside my studies, I have also gained over 12 months experience in London working for a Hedge Fund, and a FinTech startup helping underserved customers gain access to credit.
None of this would have been possible without the tuition I received in preparation for my 11+ entrance exam. My tutor supported me where my state school could not, enabling me to access a high-quality Grammar School Education which proved invaluable in achieving my goals. Now, I'd like to give back to ensure students receive the same opportunities as myself.
Over the past three years, I have taught over 500 hours of Economics & Maths lessons at both GCSE and A-Level, as well as preparing students for the 11+ exam. During this time I have become proficient in using online classrooms to ensure students get the most out of their time with me.
I pay close attention to each student's respective exam board. I dedicate time to explore the specification / mark schemes and adapt lessons to ensure the content and techniques I teach are specific to the requirements of the student's relevant exam board.
I provide thoroughly planned yet flexible lessons, identifying which skills students need to develop, providing well-explained examples, and using plenty of practice questions.

Economics: I have specialist knowledge of the essay technique required to succeed in the Economics exams, furthered by three years spent learning from an exam board member. I tailor lessons to each student’s respective exam board and have comprehensive notes for each one.
Maths: I have experience supporting students across all the major exam boards, and at all levels of ability. Whether Maths is your passion, a supplement to Economics, or you just want to pass the exam, I have helped students achieve their individual goals with great success.
11+ exam: Having benefitted from tuition for the 11+ myself, I understand the difficulties of the exam and the value a tutor can provide in helping you secure a place at your desired school.
I offer customers the ability to purchase individual lessons or lesson bundles for a discounted rate.
Prior to our first lesson, I offer a free introduction meeting. This usually takes 15 minutes and allows me to prepare in the best possible way for our first lesson together. It also provides the student/parent an opportunity to ask me any questions.
Lessons can be targeted on content revision, exam technique, or a blend of both depending on the student's needs/preferences.
